Each year, LifeStream’s AngelWish program delivers hope with doorstep delivery of a special gift to older adults who are isolated and alone during the holidays. This is often the only visit and gift the recipient receives. AngelWish is a beacon of hope for the senior that reassures they are not alone and their community cares.

This year’s program impacted 888 older adults and people with disabilities across East Central Indiana with deliveries by more than 60 volunteers. AngelWish recipients received a gift set including household items and essentials.

Thanks to a special grant from the Glick Community Relief Fund, a grant program of Glick Philanthropies to help local nonprofit organizations increase community access to basic needs, we were able to deliver 150 of those gift sets to Fairington Apartments in Anderson as a special AngelWish initiative!
We were nominated for the grant by an employee of Fairington Apartments and could not be more grateful to have the opportunity to spread some holiday cheer to their residents. One resident shared, “What a surprise and blessing it was to find a beautiful bag of gifts outside my door this morning at Fairington Apartments in Anderson. Thank you so much and Merry Blessed Christmas to all!”

This program was made possible by the generous contributions from our community. Over $28,000 was raised to benefit older adults and people with disabilities.
