Adult Protective Services

The Adult Protective Services (APS) Program was established to investigate reports and provide intervention and protection to vulnerable adults who are victims of abuse, neglect, or exploitation. APS field investigators operate out of the offices of county prosecutors throughout the state. East Central Indiana’s field office is located in Anderson in Madison County. It serves Blackford, Delaware, Randolph, Henry, Madison, Grant and Jay counties. Call Adult Protective Services at 765-641-9585 for more information.

The ombudsman helps in resolving issues involving long-term care facilities. The state program can make sure your disputes are handled appropriately. Call LifeStream at 800-589-1121 and ask to speak with the ombudsman.
