Virtual Events
LifeStream with Angie
LifeStream goes LIVE every first Thursday of the month at 2pm on our Facebook page. This monthly series seeks to educate the community on LifeStream programs and events, as well as relevant information including wellness tips, activities in the community, and more.
Dementia Friends Information Session
LifeStream Services is pleased to host monthly virtual Dementia Friends Information Sessions on the second Tuesday of the month.
A Dementia Friend is someone who wants to make a positive difference in the lives of people living with dementia through increased awareness and support. The Dementia Friends Information Session will equip attendees with the knowledge to help make their communities a safer and more welcoming place for those living with dementia and their caregivers.
Dementia Caregiver Support Group
LifeStream Services is partnering with the Alzheimer’s Association Greater Indiana Chapter and Dementia Friends Indiana to offer a virtual dementia caregiver support group.
This opportunity will help you build a support system with people who understand. Alzheimer’s Association support groups, conducted by trained facilitators, are a safe place for people living with dementia and their care partners to: develop a support system; exchange practical information on challenges and possible solutions; talk through issues and ways of coping; share feelings, needs and concerns; and learn about community resources.
If you have questions, please contact Reilly Huelsmann at 317-587-2207 or email rhuelsmann@alz.org.
This program is currently on pause until after the holiday season.
Alzheimer’s Association’s Helpline: 800-272-3900.
The group meets virtually on the last Thursday of the month from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. A link to the meeting will be sent upon registration.
You can register online at bit.ly/alzsupportgroup or call the Alzheimer’s Association’s Helpline at 800-272-3900. Space is limited, so register early!
