HARTFORD CITY, IN – LifeStream Services and Second Harvest Food Bank of East Central Indiana are partnering to offer a Senior Safety Net food distribution in Blackford County. The program will provide assorted foods for older adults in need.
The Blackford County Senior Safety Net will be held on the fourth Tuesday of the month beginning November 24 from 2:00pm to 3:30pm, or until supplies last, at the Blackford County Senior Center located at 101 S. Mill St. Hartford City, IN 47348.
The program offers easy access locations for those who are 60 years of age or older to receive nutritious food. An ID, proof of residence or need are not required. Attendees should go through the line just one time so the distribution is able to serve everyone.
