ALEXANDRIA, IN – Essential Senior Health & Living, “The Hub,” in Alexandria will no longer be serving lunch through LifeStream’s senior community café program after January 1, 2025.
Essential Senior Health & Living served lunch every Monday from 11–11:30 a.m. in “The Hub” located at 800 N. Central Ave., Alexandria, IN 46001. Madison County has four other locations that will continue to serve lunch throughout the weekdays. Find another community meal site near you by visiting lifestreaminc.org/nutrition.
LifeStream has 21 senior community cafés throughout 12 counties in Indiana. Lunch is provided on a donation basis (suggested donation of $2.50) to those who are 60 years of age and over and their spouse. Meals are provided to those below the age of 60 for a small fee of $6.50. Reservations to eat lunch at a café must be made at least one business day in advance by calling the site you plan to attend or call (800) 589-1121.
LifeStream’s mission is to provide the right information, resources, and support for maintaining independence and improving quality of life for older adults, those with disabilities, and caregivers.
