LifeStream Services is recognizing National Nutrition Month® during the month of March to help promote healthy eating and lifestyles among older adults and people with disabilities.
Special give-a-ways and nutrition information will be provided with meal packs at LifeStream Curbside distributions and through home-delivered meals. These programs are available to those who are 60 years of age or older and experiencing a lack of nutrition or socialization due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Sign up and find a location near you by calling 800-589-1121 or visit lifestreaminc.org.
Follow LifeStream’s Facebook page for tips and information on eating well and living a healthy quality of life. Information will be shared via posts and on our weekly Facebook Live show, LifeStream Live with Angie, in which LifeStream’s Outreach Coordinator, Angie Jenkins, shares information on relevant topics for older adults, people with disabilities, and their loved ones.
National Nutrition Month® is an annual campaign created by the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics in which they invite everyone to learn about making informed food choices and developing healthful eating and physical activity habits. This year’s theme is Personalize Your Plate.
