LifeStream Services and Whitewater Commons Senior Living partnered to deliver gift packages to isolated senior citizens in need in Union County, Ind. Donations were made at the beginning of August from local businesses and those in the community to fill the gift packages with practical necessity items including food, soap, toothbrushes, bathroom tissue, peanut butter, and much more.
This partnership is part of LifeStream’s AngelWish program which delivers holiday gift packages each December to over 800 senior citizens in East Central Indiana. The program coordinates doorstep delivery of packages of food and practical necessities, and brings smiles and comfort to those who are often forgotten during the holiday season.
AngelWish Union County was made possible by Whitewater Commons Senior Living, A&D Home Health Care and Affordable Home Care, Liberty Bell Flea Market, Southview Courts, Union County Health Department, and Woodruff’s Supermarket.
The season of giving is year-round at LifeStream Services. Donations can be made to the AngelWish program throughout the year.
