LifeStream Services & Reid Health Community Benefit are partnering to offer Healthy Eating Every Day (HEED), a unique behavior change nutrition program focusing on the underlying causes of unhealthy eating. The HEED class series begins on Wednesday, April 4 from 2:30pm to 4pm at the LifeStream Education Center located at 423 Commerce Rd. Richmond, IN 47374.
The registration fee for this series of Healthy Eating Every Day is being sponsored by the Reid Health Community Benefit Fund and will be offered at no charge to the attendee. Participants will set personal goals, and learn how to apply HEED’s behavior to the particular aspects of their diet and lifestyle that they need to change to achieve their goals. Topics covered include portion control, how to limit calorie dense food, and how to accumulate at least 30 minutes of moderate physical activity daily.
Those interested in participating must reserve their spot by Friday, March 30. Registration is available online by visiting www.lifestreaminc.org/heedregistration or by calling the LifeStream office at 800-589-1121.
