Wayne County Senior Farmers’ Market Voucher Distribution

Vouchers for the Wayne County Senior Farmers’ Market will be available through LifeStream Services during a special sign-up session on Wednesday, June 27 from 11am to 7pm, or until supplies last, at the Wayne County 4H Fair located at 861 Salisbury Rd., Richmond, IN 47374. Vouchers are provided by the state at limited quantities, so please plan to arrive early.
Wayne County residents over the age of 60 can redeem vouchers for fresh produce at the Richmond Farmers’ Market located at 47 N. 6 th St on Saturday from 8am to 12pm or Tuesday from 4pm to 7pm.
The vouchers are worth $20 and can be used through October 20. Eligible items include beans, peppers, tomatoes, apples, and other fresh fruits and vegetables.
To be eligible to receive vouchers (Senior Farmers’ Market Nutrition Program checks), the recipient must be at least 60 years of age or older, or a qualified person with disabilities. A picture ID with date of birth will be required to verify age.
